Rider´s Documents
The participants necessary documents include their driving license for 350ccm motorcycles, an international driving license, an adequate travel insurance, their passport and other travel and stay documents, like Visa and Return Flight Tickets, and have to be carried with them at all times.
Insurance
Travel Insurance
Adequate travel insurance is mandatory for your tour with us and is not included in the price of the tour. For rider and pillion rider the insurance must cover holidays on motorcycles of 350ccm. Ensure that the travel insurance also covers you against cancellation charges, medical expenses during your holiday, unexpected curtailment of the holiday, emergency evacuation expenses, loss or damage to luggage & property and personal liability claims against you.
Motorcycle Insurance
Our motorcycle insurance covers only material damage on the motorcycle caused due to any accident and material damage and personal injury caused to third parties with the legal usage of the motorcycle.
Cancellation Policy
Your cancellation
- 40 days and more prior to Tour Start date: cancellation is free of charge and the full amount of the package price minus transaction costs will be transferred back to you.
- 20 to 40 days prior to Tour Start date: you will get a refund of 50% of the package price minus transaction costs.
- less than 20 days prior to Tour Start date or no show until 10:00 AM on Day Two: no refund.
For a range of reasons – a broken collarbone, a family crisis or a suspended motorcycle licence – you may be forced to cancel your trip during our tour. In this case a refund will not be granted.
A special case is our individual custom tours: as we start with the preparations and reservations directly after we have received your payment, no refund claims can be granted.
Our cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants of three bikes is not reached up to 30 days prior to Tour Start date. In this case, the package price will of course be refunded in full.
Force majeure
We might be forced to interrupt and/or shorten the tour due to local particularities that are out of our control. In South India – in particular in Kerala – political strikes might lockdown the state, or severe weather events make further riding impossible.
In this case, we will do everything in our power to ensure a speedy continuation of our ride, at least to reach the starting point again in time.
However, we disclaim all responsibility and liability should we not be able to proceed as planned with the tour. A refund of the purchase price, even only partially, is therefore not possible.
Refund Policy
- Refund Process: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
- Refund Timeframe: Refunds typically take 5-7 business days to be processed and credited to the customer’s bank account or card balance. However, the actual time taken may vary depending on the banks involved and their processing times.
- Payment Method Restrictions: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used in making the purchase, except in cases where the payment method is no longer valid or has expired. In such cases, we will contact the customer to arrange for an alternative refund method.
Accident Waiver and Release of Liability
The participant is aware of the risks of motorcycling and responsible for their own actions when operating a motorcycle. The participant is aware of Indian traffic regulations, as well as how to deal with actual Indian traffic conditions.
The participant assumes all of the risks of participating in this tour, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault. The participant certifies that he/she is physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in the tour, and has not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. The participant certifies that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude his/her participation in this tour. The participant acknowledges that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability will be used by Slow Moto Tours LLP and that it will govern his/her actions and responsibilities at the tour. In consideration of the participants application and permitting him/her to participate in this tour, the participant hereby takes action for himself/herself, his/her executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
(A) The participant waives, releases, and discharges from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for the participants death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to the participant including his/her traveling to and from this tour, the following entities or persons: Slow Moto Tours LLP and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents;
(B) The participant indemnifies, holds harmless, and promises not to sue the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this tour, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise. The participantI acknowledges that this tour may carry with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic, actions of other people. The accident waiver and release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
